Chrysler announced Friday it is recalling about 25,000 model year 2007 Dodge Caliber and Jeep Compass vehicles due to sticky gas pedals. Now the Detroit automaker has two more recalls, and almost 600,000 vehicles total are affected.

Armando Galarraga, pitcher for the Detroit Tigers, is all over the news headlines today, thanks to a bad call by an umpire who ultimately ruined Galarraga’s perfect game.

The National Highway Transportation Safety Administration is warning owners of 2010 Ford Fusion and Mercury Milan sedans there could be a problem with all-weather floor mats becoming stuck under accelerator pedals. Toyota announced Friday it is recalling about 3,800 Lexus LS sedans in the U.S. to fix a problem with the car’s steering system, the AP reports. This recall comes after a recall of 4,500 of the same models in Japan earlier Friday. About 2,750 more LS sedans are affected by the recall worldwide.
